Through funds made available by the Tenet Healthcare Foundation, Cypress Fairbanks Medical Center Hospital recently donated $7,500 to the Cypress-Fairbanks Educational Foundation to support the 11th Annual Salute to the Stars Gala.
The Salute to the Stars Gala was held on October 23, 2008 at Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District's Richard E. Berry Center. The event raised over $160,000 for student scholarships and Cy-Fair ISD's Instructional Excellence Grant Program. Seventy-five teachers were honored at the event and were named Cy-Fair ISD "Spotlight Teachers" for the 2007-08 school year.
