Cypress Fairbanks Medical Center Hospital announced today that is has reached an agreement with CIGNA Corporation (NYSE: CI). Cypress Fairbanks Medical Center Hospital is part of a national agreement entered into by its parent company, Tenet Healthcare Corporation (NYSE: THC).
The new, multi-year agreement means that Cypress Fairbanks Medical Center Hospital will remain part of the CIGNA network. This will give people in the area who are covered by CIGNA continued access to the hospital and its services at their in-network benefit level.
“We are pleased to renew our relationship with CIGNA,” said Terry Wheeler, chief executive officer of Cypress Fairbanks Medical Center Hospital. “This agreement will allow our hospital to continue offering quality care to the members of the CIGNA network.”
Cypress Fairbanks Medical Center Hospital is recognized by Cigna with five Centers of Excellence designations which include:
- Chest pain
- Irregular Heartbeat
- Stroke
- Bariatrics
- Vaginal Delivery
