Consistent with our mission of healing and serving the community, Cypress Fairbanks Medical Center has a goal of creating a culture of service and operational excellence. We have taken great efforts to implement a service initiative process - not a program - designed to transform our culture and provide a system-wide approach to continuous service improvement. This initiative is called ‘Target 100’ and it references our continuous pursuit of 100 percent service satisfaction.

Patient satisfaction begins with a reliable, continuous system designed to measure the patient’s perception of care based on key aspects of their hospital experience. We diligently review monthly patient satisfaction scores and continuously develop strategies to improve, measure effectiveness of changes, and provide rewards and recognition opportunities for service excellence.

True service excellence exceeds the patient’s expectations and is the key component that can differentiate one hospital from another. At Cypress Fairbanks Medical Center we strive for 100 percent patient satisfaction by identifying and understanding our patient’s needs. Furthermore, we are committed to rekindling the passion of healthcare and provide a working culture that empowers our employees to make a difference in this community and at our hospital.

The service culture at Cypress Fairbanks Medical Center, complemented by the process improvement focus of Commitment to Quality provides the framework for delivering high quality healthcare.

Cypress Fairbanks Medical Center’s drive and success has not gone without recognition. Recently the hospital was honored with Tenet Healthcare Corporation’s 2006 Circle of Excellence award. The Circle of Excellence honors those Tenet hospitals that have performed at the highest levels in the past year in the areas of quality, service and operation performance. Key factors involved in the process include patient, physician and employee satisfaction scores, clinical quality scores and financial performance.
