Stroke is the third leading cause of death in the United States, and according to the American Stroke Association, a stroke occurs approximately every 45 seconds.
Have you or a loved one suffered from a stroke? The Stroke Support Group at Cypress Fairbanks Medical Center Hospital helps provide stroke survivors, their family members and caregivers with emotional support and education.
The group meets the first Thursday of each month at 7 p.m. in the Professional Building Classroom 1 at 11302 Fallbrook Drive.
