Critical Care When You Need It Most

If you or a loved one is cared for in the intensive care unit (ICU) at Cypress Fairbanks Medical Center Hospital, rest assured that you or your loved one will be constantly observed by trained professionals ready to provide the care needed.

The ICU staff is specially trained to care for seriously ill patients and use the advanced technology that may be necessary to provide the best possible care. If your loved one is in the ICU, you can expect that the ICU staff will keep you informed of any changes in your loved one’s condition or procedures that may be needed.

Visiting the ICU

When you visit the Cy-Fair Hospital ICU, please note that plants/flowers and personal items (unless cleared by the nursing staff) are not permitted in the ICU area. Only two visitors are allowed at one time with a patient, and no children under age 10 are permitted.
